Roy Dean Sink, 48, of Anadarko departed his life unexpectedly on Father's Day June 19, 2022 at his home in Anadarko, Ok. He was born in Hobart, Oklahoma May 10, 1974 to Gary Stone and Shirley (Sink) Jones.
Roy spent his school years in Hobart before moving to Anadarko, OK. Roy Graduated in 1992 with an Academic Diploma in Anadarko, OK. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army Calvary Scout at Fort Knox, Kentucky after graduation he served at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas. He finished his tour at duty in Germany.
While growing up Roy would enjoy everything he did with his dad and little brother Jesse Ray,. They would always go fishing and camping trips. He was always excited and couldn't wait to get home to tell the stories. Roy was the best big brother to his siblings, Jesse & Michele. He loved his sister Michele and was always proud she was his sister. He loved his mother with all his heart and he loved her dearly. There was nothing he would do for her. Roy was a member of the Kiowa Tribe and was proud of his heritage.
Roy made his home in Anadarko and enjoyed spending time with his children. He taught his sons how to take care of one another. He would say you boys will go through so many friends but in the end you will only have your brothers. He taught his sons how to fish, camp, play football, baseball and wrestling. Roy loved traveling and driving the big rigs. His sons got their chance to travel with him state to state. It was one of the best experience they had. He taught his sons how to be competitive and also when not to be. Roy's oldest son R.J. said I'm the dad I am today because he taught me. He loved his grandchildren who meant the world to him.
Roy accepted God in his life and received his ministry license in 2015. Roy continued preaching spreading the word of God In December 2020 he completed his course with "Herbert W, Armstrong College Bible Correspondence course" where he received his certificate. Roy loves sports his favorite team was the Raiders. Everything he collected had the Raiders Emblem. He had a lot of friends who loved him. He enjoyed spending time with his best friend Dustin Domebo during their school years to present. He loved animals of all kind especially his chocolate lab "Percy."
