Roy Lee Mahoney

Roy Mahoney 42, Hobart, OK passed away on Sunday, August 29th, 2010, in Oklahoma City. He was born on August 10,1968 to LeRoy and Dorothy ( Gilbert ) Mahoney in Hobart, Oklahoma. Roy has lived in Hobart all his life. He graduated from Hobart High School in 1988. He married Tomi Strickland on March 12, 2005 in Hobart, OK.

Roy worked for 13 years at the Hobart Police Department as a dispatcher and was a reserve police officer. He worked at the Granite Reformatory for 2 Years. Roy has been a mechanic at Ft. Sill for the last 5 Years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God and was also a member of Masonic Lodge #198.

He is preceded in death by one daughter Julia, maternal grandparents John and Isabelle Gilbert and his paternal grandfather, J.T. Miller, Jr.
