Rose Wanda Ledford

Rose Wanda Ledford, 84 of Mountain View, OK, went home to be with Jesus on June 14, 2011 in Hobart, OK. Wanda was born January 24, 1927 to Dave and Maudie (Brown) Ross in Rocky, OK. She was a lifelong resident of Mountain View and married Otis Paul Ledford on January 31, 1941. Wanda was a hard and faithful worker. From cooking for harvesters to working at a furniture factory to her many years at 3M where she retired, Wanda worked long hours without complaining. Her most rewarding job, however; was the job of being mother and grandmother.

Reading and watching sports were her favorite hobbies and she would often watch a game on television and read her novel during the commercials. She was most known for her kindness, her independence and her amazing cooking.

Wanda is survived by one brother, Boyd Ross, Earlsboro, OK

daughter-in-law, Barbra Ledford, Mountain View, OK

Angela Rose and husband Chris Skillern, Hollister, MO
Natalie Monique and husband John Tracy III, Guthrie, OK
Rusty Lee Ledford and wife Patricia, Enid, OK
Dusti Dee and husband Jason Gragg, Enid, OK
20 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by Otis Paul Ledford, grandson Scotty Bill Stephens, three siblings: Adrian Ross, Doris Baker and Wayne Ross and by beloved son, Danny Wayne Ledford.
