Ronnie Ray Bynum, age 57 of Sentinel, OK, passed away May 10, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK. Ronnie was born on June 8, 1959 in Sentinel to Kenneth Ray & Patsy Paquita (Lindley) Bynum. He worked in the oil field until 1977 before leaving the industry to begin his own trucking business. He returned to the oil field industry in August of 2000 where he worked until he became ill. He also enjoyed assisting with cotton harvest, driving cotton strippers for various local farms. Ronnie was a member of the FFA at Sentinel High School. All throughout his life he enjoyed basketball and baseball. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sentinel. On November 18, 2005, he married the love of his life, Betty Ann Taylor in Washita County. They had been long time friends and partners since 2000.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; his mother, Patsy Bynum of Sentinel; step-son, John Jones and his daughter, Alexus Star Jones; close first cousins, Brent Baker, Druann Shields and Latrice Conley; great uncle and aunt, Jay & Martha Cooper; sister in laws, Janet Hensley & family and Nancy Trabert & family; other members of the Cooper family in Sentinel; numerous other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by both maternal & paternal grandparents; and his father, Kenneth.

Visitation for Ronnie will be held on Friday, May 12th from 5:00-8:00 pm; Saturday, May 13th from 9:00 am-8:00 pm; and Sunday, May 14th from 1:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Sentinel with interment following at Sentinel Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Sentinel.
