Ronald B Piercey

Ronald B Piercey long time Cordell resident passed away December 25, 2016, at the age of 85. Ronald was born to Ed and Arlene (Rosser) Piercey on the family farm outside of Cordell. He attended school in Dill City and Cordell. Ronald joined the Navy in 1950 and served his Country until 1954. When he returned from the Navy Ronald married the love of his life Charlotte Reed. They raised their family in Cordell and Ronald served as the Washita County Treasurer. Ronald and Charlotte were married for 55 years. They were members of the Northside Church of Christ, Ronald belonged to the VFW, American Legion and attended every event his grandchildren were involved in. Ronald was a friend to everyone who knew him.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, wife Charlotte in 2009, brother Coy Piercey, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dolora and Bill Hoefar.

Ronald is survived by daughters: Jeanne and husband Terry Smith of Cordell; Kathy and husband Ron Mazurek of Byrdstown, Tennessee; grandchildren and great grandchildren Amy and husband Trey Littau, Abby and Emma Littau of Enid, Oklahoma; Lacey and husband Steven Brown, Jack Brown of OKC; Jeremy McClure of California; Nathan McClure of OKC and daughter Zoe; Megan and husband Tyler Parsons of Edmond; Brothers Von Piercey and wife Janne Brumbelow of Dallas, Texas; John Piercey of Dallas, Texas ans a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Private family services will be at a later date for Ronald Piercey.
