Obituary for Lieutenant Colonel Ron Fowler
Ron Fowler passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at his home in Carnegie, OK. Ron was born May 6, 1946 in Tulsa, OK.
Ron attended Carnegie Public School graduating with the Class of 1964. Ron attended The University of Oklahoma graduating with a degree in Pharmacy. After graduation Ron joined the Air Force in 1970, then transferred to active duty in the Air National Guard in 1976. During his time in the guard he flew his C-130 in missions all over the world. He retired in 1996.
He was an active member of the Carnegie United Methodist Church. He also served on the Carnegie City Council and at one time was a Reserve Officer for the Carnegie Police Department.
After retirement, Ron enjoyed traveling with his wife Audrey, especially to Mexico each year. He also enjoyed spending time camping and fishing. He also looked forward to spending time with his Military family at the yearly fishing trip to Lake Texhoma. Ron was a proud father and grandfather who enjoyed spending his time with his sons, grandchildren, and family.
