Roger Dale Wright, 67 of Anadarko died on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Oklahoma City of Lung cancer.
Roger was born on March 19,1948 in Anadarko to Pearl ( Zornes) and David Wright. Roger graduated from Anadarko High School in 1966. There after he received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting at SWOSU in Weatherford, OK. After working in finance for years he eventually pursued his true professional calling and begun working side by side with his father as an electrical contractor. Roger then became owner and operator of Roger Wright Electric.
Roger is survived by his wife Kay Wright of Anadarko; children: Jennifer Wright and his grandsons Kai Wright, DeAndre Blakes, Tre Blakes all of Oklahoma City and son: Jeremy Wright and granddaughters: Kaydence Wright, Madison Wright, Miya Wright, Aubrey Wright, grandson: Jeremy Wright, Jr.; mother: Pearl Wright of Anadarko, his brother-in-law David Doro of Chickasha and brother and sister-in-law Nelson and Mary Jo Alfaro of Oklahoma City. And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved family members.
He is preceded in death by one infant daughter, Jana; his father: David Wright; two sisters: Junetta Wright-Abbott, Rebecca Jane Wright-Doro; brother: Roy Wright.
Roger was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and true friend. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2015
Church of the Nazarene, Anadarko, Oklahoma
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday but Family visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Steverson Funeral Home.
Interment: Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, OK
