Rodney Dockins, 68, of Mountain View, passed away on April 9, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1956, to S.A & Twila Ruth Dockins, and spent his whole life in Mountain View, where he grew up and went to school. He graduated from Mountain View High School in 1975, where he played football and was known as a great athlete.
After high school, Rodney went to votech for carpentry and really found his talent there. He was an excellent carpenter and could build just about anything. Over the years, he also helped out with farming when needed.
Rodney had a big love for domino's. He spent a lot of time at the domino hall in Mountain View, playing and visiting with friends. It was one of his favorite places to be. He had a lot of good friends and family who cared about him. He'll be remembered for his steady hands, quick wit, and friendly smile.

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
Preceded in death by his parents: S.A & Twila Ruth Dockins, Grandparents: Sidney & Daisy Ruth, and Roy & Ivan Dockins, Siblings: Yvonne Dockins & Doug Dockins.
