Roberta Jane (Laufer) Allard Dec 25 1934-April 24, 2019 Berta was the oldest of Robert and Olga Laufer. Roberta grew up in Gotebo, OK with her two sisters Janet Trentham and Paula Willis. After High School, she moved to Hobart and married the love of her life, Corkey Allard, on November 1, 1953, at First Christian Church. Soon after their wedding date, Roberta and Corkey moved to Wichita, KS, where Corkey was stationed in the US Air Force. While Corkey was serving, Roberta found a job at Johnson & Larimer Dry Goods Company. After Corkey finished his time in the military service, they moved back to Hobart, OK. Roberta started a long career at Home State Bank in 1969. She worked as a teller/bookkeeper for 35 years. Roberta was a creative person. She loved to sew. She was constantly reading books and magazines. Roberta was a believer in Jesus Christ. She was baptized at 13 years old at First Christian Church. Roberta loved collecting trunks, baskets, and trays. Roberta is lovingly remembered by her sons and daughter's in law: Russell and Dawnita Allard, and Randy and Polly Allard. Roberta will also be remembered by her 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, Tyson, Kerri and Quinn Allard, Cody Allard, Nate Allard, Patrick Allard, Daryl Storey, and Joshua Storey. Also, by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Larry Trenham, and Paula and Larry Willis. Roberta was preceded in death by her Parents, Robert and Olga Laufer, her husband, Corkey Allard, and her daughter Christy Storey. Roberta wanted to leave this world with a message to all: "These writings I leave you. My life was a wonderful ride! I love each and every one of you! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few will catch your heart. Pursue these!"
