Robert Eugene "Bob" Riley

September 19, 1953 — August 22, 2018

After a brief and unexpected illness, Robert Eugene "Bob" Riley passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Bob was born September 19, 1953 in Bethesda, Maryland to Bobbie Charles Riley and Jeanne Riley. After attending and graduating from schools in Moore, Oklahoma, Bob enrolled in higher education studies at the University of Oklahoma. Bob served and honored his country through five years of military service.

After discharge from military service, Bob worked in the furniture business where his budding sales career began. He found his footing in the manufactured home industry where he worked for over twenty-five years in all aspects of the business throughout southwest Oklahoma and Texas (Sales, Management, New Business/Site Development, Financing). Bob also worked as a mortgage loan officer and at the time of his death was employed as a service advisor at Cummins Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Bob was a dedicated employee and very hard worker in all of his career pursuits and never complained about his job.

Bob met the love of his life, Becky Blehm in 1991 and has loved and adored her ever since. Bob also tremendously loved his kids, his Mom and shared a cherished and close relationship with his younger brother Craig. He had a special deep love for his grandkids who called him "Kapaw".

In recent years, Bob and Becky volunteered at the annual Red Andrews Christmas Dinner in Oklahoma City. Serving the less fortunate and seeing the smiling faces was a welcomed and special event during the holidays.

His absolute joy came from being outdoors. He enjoyed mowing the yard and hanging out at Eagleheart with friends. 'Maylee' was his special little (pet) girl who would jump and yelp with joy upon Bob's arrival from work each day.

Bob was an avid OU Sooner football fan and particularly looked forward to spending time each year with longtime Texas Longhorn friends at the Red River Shootout in Dallas.

Bob was a great cook and took pride in his "Stuffed Jalapenos" and "Kapaw Sketty". There was never a party or event held that Bob didn't have his stuffed peppers ready to share.

In short, Bob had a very welcoming and giving heart to anyone and everyone with whom he came in contact. Bob will be greatly missed but always remembered as a wonderful son, father, husband, brother, "Kapaw" and friend.
