Robert A Ivy passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Cordell, Oklahoma. He was born on August 30, 1957, to Roy Edward & Viola Evelyn (Glaesman) Ivy, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Robert met and married, Mary Rutherford, on September 7, 1976, in Cordell, at the First Baptist Church. Together they made their home in Cordell, where they raised their 4 children. Robert's adventurous spirit found solace in the great outdoors. He nurtured a deep love for hunting, fishing, and in his spare moments, searching for arrowheads-each discovery a tribute to his unwavering curiosity and respect for nature's history. One of Robert's proudest accomplishments was building his own house, a testament to his hard work and dedication. It wasn't just a physical structure; it represented the love and warmth that he poured into every corner, making it a true home. Anyone who entered could feel the safety and happiness that radiated from within its walls, a reflection of Robert himself. Robert carried with him a joy that transcended the ordinary; his laughter was infectious, brightening every room he entered. Friends and family will forever remember the warmth of his smile and the kindness he extended to everyone around him.
