Robert Samuel Dunn, 90, of Anadarko, Oklahoma passed away in the home where he was born with family by his side on October 25th, 2018. Robert was born on September 16th, 1928 to David Benjamin and Beulah Frances (Hanger) Dunn. He grew up and attended school in Cyril, Oklahoma. Robert married Geneva Cotten on June 2, 1951 in Friend, Oklahoma. He spent most of his working life farming and ranching. He was on the Anadarko School Board 20 plus years and served as President of the board during part of his service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge where he was a 32nd Degree Mason and earned his 50 year pin. In his spare time he enjoyed welding, hunting, reading and square dancing with the love of his life Geneva. Robert was a member of the local farm community New Hope Baptist Church, where he and Geneva taught Sunday School. As their daughters grew older, he and Geneva moved their church membership to town. He and his wife are now members of the First Baptist Church in Anadarko. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
