Roa Gene King, 79, of Arapaho, Oklahoma passed away on August 29th, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on October 11th, 1941 to William and Hazel (Gorman) King in Hydro, Oklahoma. Roa grew up and attended school in Putnam and graduated from Putnam High School. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University until draft by the United States Army and served in the Vietnam as a medic. Roa returned to school after serving his country and received his Licensed Practical Nursing license. He met Donna Williams, they were united in marriage on December 26, 1985 in Wheeler, TX. Roa worked at Integris Clinton Regional Hospital for numerous years, and retired from K-Mart after 20 years. He enjoyed bowling on the men's league. Roa loved to watch Clinton Red Tornado Football and he was an avid OU fan. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
