Richele Lynn Trogden-Simek

Richele Lynn Trogdon-Simek, of Anadarko, OK, was born November 7, 1953 in Oceanside, CA to Jim and Dorothy Strickland. She passed from this life on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at her home.

Richele graduated from Anadarko High School in 1971. She married Terry Butler on April 4, 1974 and they had three kids; Terry, Tommy and April. Richele married Tyson Trogdon on October 23, 1992. The two were married until his passing in 2002. Richele received her nursing degree from Redlands Community College in El Reno, OK in 1995. She married Randy Simek on November 25, 2003. Richele has worked in Home Health Care and nursing home facilities since receiving her degree. She had a strong love and devotion to her many patients throughout the years.

Richele had an enormous love for animals. She has had everything from cats and dogs to raccoons and alligators. She loved to love animals and people alike. She was not only the Mother to her three kids, she had many "adopted" children along the way. Richele enjoyed listening to music and cooking large meals for her many friends and family. She looked forward to early spring when the Redbuds bloom and the morels were growing.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Ray and Ethel McKee; her parents, Jim and Dorothy Strickland and Tyson Trogdon.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Simek; three children, Terry Butler, Tommy Butler and April McNamar; daughter-in-laws, Sheila Butler and Shelly Butler; son-in-law, Bub McNamar; stepdaughters, Stormy and Mandy; eight grandchildren, Tyler and Candice, Tristin, Kayln, Jadyn, Jaryn, Jayme, Aidyn and Kylee; great grandchild, Talen; sister, Kimberly Strickland; Terry and Carol Butler; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
