Richard Don Daingkau, 37, of Carnegie, Oklahoma made his journey to his heavenly home on August 12, 2020 with loved ones by his side.
Richard was born on May 15, 1983 to Valerie McCann and Clyde Daingkau Jr. in Lawton, Oklahoma. Richard was a member of the Kiowa Tribe. He graduated from Carnegie High School in 2002. He received special recognition for his athletic abilities in football. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University briefly, until he found and valued hard work instead. Richard wanted to work with his hands, which lead him to becoming quite the craftsman for various fields of construction, such as storm shelters and homes. He valued a days hard, honest work and took great pride in everything he did. He also loved watching OU football and Carnegie Wildcat sports. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, cook outs, and just being with family and friends. He especially loved karaoke and sung to various types of music.
Richard had a lot of friends. He enjoyed making everyone laugh because of his unique personality and sense of humor. His smile and laughter were captivating as well as contagious. Richard will be greatly missed and will always be loved.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Daingkau Jr.
