Regina Elena Aguilar, 41, of Anadarko, was born July 2, 1971, at Reynolds Hospital at Fort Sill to Guadalupe and Norma (Aranda) Aguilar. She passed from this life on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at her home.
Regina was raised in Anadarko and Lawton and graduated from Eisenhower High School in Lawton, with the Class of 1989. She then attended Aladdin Beauty School in Chickasha, and became a licenced cosmetologist. She later worked for a couple of small loan companies in Anadarko. In 2000, she went to work for the B.I.A. as a secretary in the realty department.
Regina loved her cat, Frank, singing and playing the guitar, swimming and spending time with her friends.
Preceding her in death was her father and a brother, Juan P. Aguilar.
Survivors include her mother, Norma Aguilar; a sister, Andrea Phillips and her husband, Mark; a brother, William Palmer and his wife, Janet, all of Anadarko; an uncle, Phillip Aguilar and his wife, Betsy of Lawton; three aunts, Erlinda Lowhorn of Marlow, Mary Howard, of Las Vegas and Linda Yanez of Anadarko; some very special friends, numerous cousins, nieces other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at the Steverson Funeral Home chapel at 1 P.M., Saturday, February 23, 2013, with Ed Buchannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane Cemetery.
