He was born July 3, 1947 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Herbert Redbone and Clara (Blackbear) Tselee. Raymond graduated from Chilocco Indian School and went on to continue his education at college. He was a part of a relocation program that took him to Dallas, Texas where he worked as an eye glass technician for 4 years. He was a member of the Apache Tribe, Apache Blackfoot Society, and the Apache Native American Church. Raymond married Ramona Gene Perosi on March 10, 1967 at the Indian Capital Baptist Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He was an active member of the baseball team and golf team, and won several tournaments.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, wife Ramona, brothers: Dennis Tselee, Leon Redbone, Jerry Redbone, Hicks Boyiddle, and William "Dink" Boyiddle, sisters: Theodosia "Tweet" Wheeler, Wilma "Straw" Wells, and Judy Redbone Tselee.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Barbara Tselee, Anadarko, Oklahoma,
Rae Ann Tselee, Anadarko, Oklahoma,
special grandson: Jaidyn "Moggie" Tselee
grandchildren: Kayla Tselee Cruikshank, Carmen Perez, Dulce "Coco" Tselee , Ramon Perez, Barbara Mari Perez, Damien Tsoodle, Mylee Tsoodle, and Jocylin Tsoodle,
10 great grandchildren: Ceclia "CeCe" Cisneros, Mikie Ramos, Junior Ramos, Jonathan and Christina Cisneros, Alex Galvan, Rubi Galvan-Tselee, George Tselee, Algeles Escobedo, and Julian Galvan,
