Rance Gene Methvin passed away May 18, 2019 in Carnegie, Ok. Rance was born in Denver, Colorado October 8, 1967 to Herman Lee Methvin and Rebecca Lone Wolf Kauley. His Indian name was given to him by his maternal grandfather, Bruce LoneWolf, "Awl Haunga Keengaw" meaning "money man".
Rance was raised by his paternal grandparents, Margaret Appayatt Methvin (Ake Gope) and William Burns Methvin (Death a polis). He attended Carnegie Public School and Riverside Indian School. He liked to watch wrestling with his grandfather, he played Handgames. He liked all kinds of music, oldies & Gospel. He went to church every Sunday and Wednesday evening. He was well liked; behaved very respectful in the Carnegie Community. He had many friends and acquaintences who helped him in his times of need through prayer, feeding him, and conversing with him. He worked as a laborer for various people, mowing grass, baling hay etc. Rance loved to fish.
Rance was a direct descendant of Satanta; Oldle paugh, and Chief LoneWolf.
