Ralph Shockley, 72, long-time Mountain View resident passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 in the Corn Hertiage Village, Corn, OK. He was born September 8, 1937 in Jackson County, Oklahoma to Arnold A. and Ruth (Hughes) Shockley. Ralph graduated from Mountain View High School and Southwestern at Weatherford. He taught at Blair, Altus and retired after teaching school 30 years at Liberal, KS. He taught science and was a counselor.
Survivors include 2 cousins: Bob Bratton and wife Patty, Mangum, OK
Blake Bratton and wife Charlotte, Mangum, OK
3 second cousins: Alexandra Bratton, Juliana Dayton, and Angela Bratton, all of Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
