Ralph Daniel "Danny" Johnson II, 57, was born June 19, 1958, to Ole and Edith (Bilyeu) Johnson in Anadarko. He passed from this life on Monday, September 7, 2015, in Oklahoma City.
Danny was raised in Gracemont and Anadarko. As an early teen, he worked as a bus boy at the Black Beaver. After finishing school, Danny worked for the City of Anadarko and was a plumber. Later, he worked as a painter with his uncle, Jerry Newton. Danny went on to do painting and carpentry on his own until retiring due to failing health.
Danny liked fishing, wrestling, racing and working on motors. He also enjoyed music and game cocks. Danny really loved his dogs, Joker and Sarge, cooking out for his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Ray Anderson and Lillie Bilyeu Anderson; Paternal grandparents, Evans Johnson Pracher and Ralph Daniel Johnson I; former wife, Kathleen Reeder; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Hobbs and Timmy Harris; son-in-law, Andrew Warren Supernaw.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette of the home; four children, Crystal Johnson of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Britney Supernaw of Anadarko, LaDana Johnson of Gracemont and Kayla Purdy and her husband, Dale of Yukon; step-children, Jenifer Wyatt and her husband, Marcus of Guthrie and Cory Yearwood of Anadarko; parents, Ole and Edith Johnson, three siblings, Cheryl Hobbs, Wayne Johnson and Jonathan Johnson, all of Anadarko; spouse from a previous marriage, Rae Ann Johnson; 8 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service has been scheduled for 11 P.M., Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the Johnson Family Cemetery (located 4.7 miles west of Anadarko and 1.5 miles south and west into their property).
