Pilar Rivero

Pilar Rivero, 57, of Hobart, OK went home to be with the Lord October 28th, 2016. She was given the gift of life on May 22nd, 1959 in Raymondville, TX. On December 20th, 1980 Pilar was married to the love of her life Miguel Angel Rivero. She was a fiercely loving wife and mother of three children. She was also a caring and nurturing nana to her grandchildren. Outside of the home Pilar served as a caregiver in the Hobart community. Above all else, Pilar was a warrior in the Lord's army never wavering in her faith. She lived her life devoted to the Lord.

Pilar is survived by her parents Isaac G. Acosta Sr and wife Guadalupe of Del Rio, TX; husband Miguel Angel Rivero of Hobart, OK; daughter Lilliana Verdejo and son-in-love Nicholas Price of Mangum, OK; son Angel Miguel Rivero and daughter-in-love Blair Forrest of Stillwater, OK; daughter Alma Rivero of Hobart, OK; Grandchildren Araceli, Abigail, and Adam Verdejo of Mangum, OK; Brothers Felipe S. Acosta of Del Rio, TX; Rodolfo S. Acosta of Del Rio, TX; Isaac G. Acosta Jr. and wife Maria of Del Rio, TX; Sisters Maria Wilson and husband Edward of Corpus Christi, TX; Maggie Weyer of Del Rio, TX; Alice Karnes and husband Kevin of Tuscan, AZ. as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: one brother Jesus Salinas Acosta, granddaughter: Adrialis Angelica Verdejo.
