Phyllis Silverhorn Calcaterra

Phyllis (Silverhorn) Calcaterra, 88, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025. She was born on May 23, 1936, to James "Slim" and Clara Rose (Tsalote) Silverhorn in Lawton, Oklahoma. Phyllis grew up in Stecker Oklahoma and attended Riverside School in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She married Paul C. Calcaterra on August 25, 1956, in Hobart, Oklahoma. Phyllis spent her working life staying at home taking care of her daughter Katherine and family. She was a proud member of the Kiowa tribe, who just honored her and her twin Iris Silverhorn as the oldest living Kiowa Twins, Phyllis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Twin sister Iris Silverhorn, Chickasha, OK and sister Mary Lou Tselee Anadarko, OK

Numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Preceded in death by her Parents: James and Clara Silverhorn, Siblings: Ruth Tofpi, Bessie Ahhaitty, Velma Silverhorn, Roseline Stevens, Robert "Bo" Silverhorn, Leonard Silverhorn, and Billy Silverhorn.
