Phoebe A Martinez, 83 of Chickasha, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, July 22, 2017, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Phoebe was born to Anthony Avila and Mary (Bento) Avila on July 23, 1933 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Phoebe loved to cook for people. She had a passion for making food and taking it to anyone who was hungry. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Phoebe is survived by: sons Kenneth Barboza,
Steven and wife Romelda Barboza.

Paula Roundface and husband Daniel

Grandchildren: Chad and Cathleen Setters, Chris and Amanda Setters, Daphne Black, Regina and Kyle Smith, Colten and Courtney Weger, Laci and Tj Garrett, Micheal Martinez.
Great grandchildren: Sarah, Ryan, Isaac, Abigal, Eden, Israel, Kaylee, Conner, Bailen, Averi, Eli, Cj, and Knox.

1 Sister: Edie Tomascik,
3 sister in laws Betty Guy, Rose Neito, Romona Gonzales.
1 brother in law: Phillip Martinez

2 adopted daughters: Cindy Witt and Sheila Doyal.

Proceeded in death: her parents, husband Hank Martinez, sisters Maime Cummings, Irene Rose, Cecila Provost, Treza Nunes and Florence Avila, brothers Joe Avila, and Caper Avila, 1 adopted daughter Sherry Foster.

Visitation will be held Tuesday 25th, 2017 at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home Chapel from 9:00AM-8:00PM
Rosary will be held Wednesday 26th, 2017 at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00PM
Funeral service will be Thursday 27th, 2017 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00AM
Interment will be at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma
