Phillip Wade Nunn

Phillip Wade Nunn, Born July 21, 1947, passed from this life, December 31, 2023, at the age of 76 at home in Anadarko Oklahoma.

Phillip, the youngest of three children born to Bruce and Gladys Nunn in Anadarko, was raised working on the family farm west of Anadarko. As a young man he worked at his dad's welding shop in Anadarko and then later pursued jobs in manufacturing.

Phillip had various hobbies and interests over the years. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting deer, quail, dove, and pheasant as well as camping with friends and family. Throughout his life he always loved fishing and over the last couple decades he enjoyed welding and spent a lot of time making and working on things.

In 1987 Phillip began his longest career, driving an 18-wheeler and in 1991 Louise joined him in that career until 2011 when they retired. After "retiring" he decided to go back to work, held several jobs, but his favorites were driving vehicles as needed for Joshua's Auto Sales as well as working for the Caddo Nation the past 3 years in Security. He loved the people he worked with.

Phillip is survived by the love of his life of 53 years, Louise Nunn, their two children, son: Kevin Nunn, his wife Brooke of Cookeville TN, daughter: Tina Gracia, her husband Thomas of El Reno OK, eldest daughter: Renee Wilson of Yukon OK, his sister: Barbara Owens and husband Curtis of Claremore OK, his sister-in-law: Joan Nunn of Harrah OK, his cousin that was like a brother: Mike Eslinger and wife Linda of Yukon, his Aunt: Margie Pendley of Marlow OK. Phillip has 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He has numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends that loved him and he them.

Phillip had some very special friends and neighbors throughout his life that hold a special place in his heart as well as ours. We cannot name them all as there are many. Phillip would though want to mention Stephen Williams of Anadarko who was like another son to him. Stephen was always there and willing to help do anything. Phillip loved and appreciated him.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father Bruce Nunn, mother Gladys Nunn and brother Donald Nunn.
