Pete Randall Cruz

Pete Randall Cruz, 41, passed away at 8:44p.m. to be with our Creator, on July 14, 2017, at Baptist Integris Medical Center, Oklahoma City OK, as a result of internal hemorrhaging and cerebral inflammation. He was born August 22, 1976, to the proud parents of Cheyenne( Evelyn) RomanNose and Abel Cruz Sanchez. He attended Carnegie Middle School and Edmond North High School. Pete was a wild, independent, yet spiritual human being. He was a cherished companion to Ida Lump Mouth, a beloved son, and he was loved by numerous friends and relatives. He believed in the Great Spirit and prayed for those he knew, those he did not know, and for his loved ones Pete will be missed.

Pete is survived by his parents Cheyenne and Abel; his sister Celia (Fussy) Cruz of Oklahoma City and brother, Tery (Chubby) Cruz of Tellica Plains, Tennessee; his maternal Grandmother Augustine Methvin Maldonado of Carnegie, and his paternal Grandfather Alejandro Cruz Vega of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and numerous relatives from the U.S. and Mexico.

Preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather Clifton (Sabu) R. BearTrack RomanNose, Paternal Grandmother Arnulfa Sanchez Velasquez, Maternal Grandparents, William Deathopolis (Billy High) Methvin and Margaret Apayyat Methvin.

Pete is an 1864 Sand Creek Massacre Descendant of the Cheyenne Tribe (A-gope-tah and Nah-vah-ho [White Spaniard]); a Red Moon descendant of the Cheyenne Tribe (Great-Great Grandfather Chief Wolfman RomanNose, Great Grandfather Frank RomanNose, and Grandfather Clifton (Sabu) R. Bear Track RomanNose (Cheyenne Dog Soldier); and, a great-great grandson of White Antelope; a Santanta (White Bear) descendant of the Kiowa Tribe (Odle-paugh); and, he is a Chircuahua Apache Descendant (Blue Cloud to William Deathopolis (Billy High) Methvin).
