Perlie Mae Powers

Perlie Mae Powers, 92, Carnegie, OK died Sunday, March 27th, 2011at the Carnegie Nursing Home. She was born, July 6, 1918 in Fort Cobb, OK to Roy and Aithel (Jackson) Courtney. Perlie Mae attended Prairie Lone School and had worked many years at the nursing home. She married Howard Powers and he preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Son and wife: Mark and Tammy Powers, Carnegie, OK
11 Grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Daughter-in-law: Verna Powers, Mustang, OK
Son in law: Elmer Frank, Woodward, OK
2 sisters: Dorthea Lee Tilley, Carnegie, OK
Perzoid Millican, Texas
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; Daughter Eula Faye Frank and
and two sons, Billy Joe and Leroy.


Services: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Church of the Nazarene, Carnegie, OK with burial to follow in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of
Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie.
