Peggy Nina Smith

November 19, 1944 — February 5, 2021

Peggy Nina Smith went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2021. She was born on November 19, 1944 to Arthur and Della Madden of the Pecan Community south of Mountain View, Oklahoma. She attended Sedan School and graduated from Putnam City. While working at Gulf Stream she started dating her one and only love and in two short months she married Sid Smith and they had celebrated 54 years of romance at the time of her death. After they married, they moved to Fort Worth, Texas and then later purchased a farm south of Mountain View where they spent their life farming and raising their girls, Sadina and Shonda. Peggy was a rare treasure with a pure heart who loved her family deeply and had an unwavering love for God.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Madden; mother, Della Madden; brother, Paul Madden; and grandson, Hunter Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Sid Smith; daughter Sadina Plumbtree and husband Jerry of Oklahoma City; daughter Shonda Eddowes and husband Jeremy of El Reno; grandchildren Taylor Lamb, Auston Hinson, Laramie Bryant, Shody Davis, Lexie Fox, Joey Plumbtree, Justin Plumbtree, and Logan Husfeld as well as several great-grandkids.
