Peggy Lou Smith

Peggy Pfenning Smith, 86, life long Hobart resident, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Corn, OK. She was born in Hobart, OK on December 12th, 1926, to Clarence and Zelpha (Henson) Flowers. Peggy graduated from Hobart High School and from Hills Business College in Oklahoma City, OK. She married Willard Pfenning on January 20,1947, in Hobart OK, he preceded in her death in 1966. Peggy married Frank Smith on December 5, 1988, and he preceded in her death in 2006. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Hobart, OK. Peggy met with several ladies at the library to play golf "cards" every Thursday and loved to fish and paint.

She is survived by one son,

one daughter, Bev Davis and husband John of Colorado Springs, CO
one step-son, Tom Smith and wife Kristy, Hobart, OK
five grandchildren, Becky and Michael Beason, Melissa and T.D. O'Hara, Leigh and Beau Standerfer, Aaron Davis, Kelsey and Aaron Burke
five great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Morgan, Claire, Teague, and Ben
one brother, Larry Flowers of Hobart, OK

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands Willard and Frank, and one sister Geraldine Ahsmuhs.

Burial will follow in the Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, OK under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home in Hobart, OK
