Pedro Maldonado

Deacon Pedro Villarrial Maldonado. 83, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away November 3rd, 2015. He was born in Tivoli, Texas, on January 18th, 1932 to Ciprian and Innocencia (Villarreal) Maldonado. He was united in marriage to Carmen Maldonado on August 28, 1950 in Robstown, Texas. To this union ten children were born. Pedro worked as a carpenter for a majority of his life. He became a part of the Spanish Cursillo team and gave testimonies all over the state until 1989 when he entered formation for the permanent diaconate of the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Oklahoma. He was ordained in 1992 and served in Hobart, Clinton, and Cordell.

A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hobart, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Hobart, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Hobart, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home.
