Pearl Fay McBride, formerly of Alfalfa, OK died March 2, 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK.
She was born in Retrop, Oklahoma, December 20, 1920 to Walter and Ada (Dowdy) Gordon. As a child her family moved frequently. Her family owned a farm two miles north and two miles west of Alfalfa School. They donated half the land where Eureka School was located. They lived in Capulin, New Mexico when her father was killed by lightening. Pearl married Leon McBride, July 6, 1937 in Hobart, OK and he preceded her in death in 1986. She was a member of the Church of Christ and loved animal shows and her Bible.

Brother: Jim Gordon, Carnegie, OK
Nine grandchildren , twenty four great grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leon; sister, Lena DeBach, a brother, Henry Gordon and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild and one great-great grandchild.
Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2011 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home Chapel, Carnegie, OK with burial to follow in the Alfalfa Cemetery, Alfalfa, OK
