Pearl Vernita Bigbow passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the age of ninety years. She was born February 28 1927 to Henry & Rhoda Campbell Potiye in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
She attended Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She married Harding Bigbow November 1, 1943 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
She was a member of the Native American Church, Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma, Victory Club, and Kiowa War Mothers.
She is survived by one sister Mable Curley of Anadarko, four daughters: Dolores Timsah of Grand Prairie, Texas, Rhodene Bigbow of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Harvetta Bigbow of Anadarko, Oklahoma, and Jackie Bigbow of Mtn. View, Oklahoma. Eighteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
Preceded in death by her spouse Harding, two sons, Teddy & Eddie.
She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00am Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Come and go wake service will be Friday, February 2, 2018 starting at 7:00 PM at Pearl's home.
