Paul Edward Newberry

Paul Edward Newberry, 66, of Vernon, Texas, passed away on April 25, 2020 in Vernon, Texas with family by his side. He was born on November 12, 1953 to Z.G. and Dora Mae (West) Newberry in Sayre, Oklahoma. Paul grew up and attended school in Dimmitt, Texas. Paul met the love of his life Rita Gilley and they were married on November 15, 1974 in Hobart, Oklahoma. They were happily married for 45 years. His mechanic career consisted of working for John Deere and he later retired from the City of Vernon. He was a member of The Vernon Bass Club, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending his time with family.
