Patsy Ruth Powers

Patsy Ruth Johnson Powers was born July 20, 1933 to Ed and Clara Belle VanSlyke Johnson in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She left this earth Saturday September 21, 2019.
Patsy came to Anadarko about 50 years ago to work at Sequoyah Carpet Mill (later known as Hollytex). She retired from there after 30 years.
She was survived by her four children. Kathy and husband Marcelino Gonzalez of Anadarko, OK. Jimmy and wife Lupe Powers of Phoenix, AZ. Nancy and husband Keith Trogdon of Cyril, OK. Patti Powers of Kyle, TX. Two brothers John and wife Faye Johnson of Broken Bow, OK. Larry and wife Penny Johnson of Dallas, TX. One sister Mary Lou Turnage of Dallas, TX. Plus several grandkids, a great granddaughter and many other beloved family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Two brothers James Edward Johnson, Dannie Lee Johnson and four sisters Alma Jane Lavender, Shirley Pamela Johnson, Judy Oren and Marjorie Ann Johnson.
Burial will be at Memory Lane Cemetery with graveside services at 10 am on Saturday September 28, 2019.
