Pamela Kay Vanosdol

Pamela Kay VanOsdol (Ragland), 71, went to her heavenly home on May 22nd, 2014. Pamela was born November 27th, 1942 to David Hamilton (Hamp) and Pualine Ragland. Pamela grew up in Mountain View, OK and graduated from Mountain View High School in 1960. After High School Pamela attended Ben Shaw Modeling Studio in Oklahoma City. She later attended school to become a registered Cardiology Technologist. She retired from Paul's Valley General Hospital, Paul's Valley, OK. She was an excellent piano player and taught lessons for years. As well, she wrote a weekly column for the Paul's Valley Newspaper. Her talents were many, to include being gifted with creating beautiful cross stitch, and paintings for family and friends. Pam threw a blood clot in her lungs in 2008 and was not expected to live. She spent weeks in the hospital while God answered prayers and allowed her a little extra time on earth, she prayed, when the golden sun is setting, and this earth no more I trod, may my precious name be written in the Book of Life by God. In lieu of flowers, Pam's request was for each to say a prayer for someone in need. Spend a moment in devotion and remember her with laughter, not with tears. If any feels a need to do more, visit someone in a nursing home and simply let hem know you care.

five grandchildren, one great grandchild
brother, Burl Ragland and wife, Brenda, Lawton, OK
her aunt, Jo, Fordyce, AR
many cousins, five nieces and nephews, ten great nieces and nephews, and friends Sara Lou and Sharon,

She was preceded in death by her loving parents and husband, George VanOsdol


Graveside Service: 3:00p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain View, OK.
