Otto Dean Evans of Lamesa passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was born August 25, 1922 in Carnegie, OK. to Homer and Bell Evans. He went to Silver Moon School. Dean married Lorean Tidmore on May 10, 1941. They moved to Lamesa, Texas in 1958.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his grandson Kirk Crawford.
Those left to cherish his memory are his six children Doris Curbow of Lamesa, Texas, Connie McKibben and husband Jerry of Lubbock, Texas, Delores Mitchell and husband John of Lamesa, Texas, Eddie Evans and wife Janet of Grand Prairie, Texas, Lacy Evans and wife Sandra of Lamesa, Texas, and Felicia Barfield of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Funeral Services: 11:00a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Chapel, Carnegie
Burial will follow at the Carnegie Cemetery
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie
