Otis Ray Tartsah

Otis Ray Tartsah, 78, passed away December 17, 2021, at home in Clinton, OK. He was born April 23, 1943 in Anadarko, OK to Quinton Anquoe and Hazel (Tartsah) Seymour.
He married the love of his life, Barbara, on March 26, 1981 in Ada, Oklahoma. They lived in Clinton for more then twenty years. Otis was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe.
He graduated Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado on June 4, 1981 with his Associate of Applied Science degree. He then attended and graduated from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma on May 17, 1986 with his Bachelor of Arts degree. Later he earned his Master's degree in social work from the University of Oklahoma on May 9, 1987.
Otis liked attending powwows and spending hours on the computer. He enjoyed watching high school football especially when the Anadarko Warriors played against the Clinton Red Tornados. However, he would always sit with Anadarko's fans. He enjoyed keeping up with the news, picking his guitar, and reading. You could find Otis watching boxing, playing at the casino, and cheering for the his beloved team, the Oklahoma Sooners. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his: brothers; Martin and Bucky Seymour Jr., grandparents; Logan Tartsah, Charlas Joe Tartsah, Ida Tosigh Tartsah, and Mary Bigbow Tartsah, uncles; Richey Tartsah Sr., Douglas Jim Tartsah, Charles Burk Tartsah, Lincoln Tartsah Sr., Rudolph Tartsah Sr., Vernon Tartsah, Alfred M. Tartsah, Virgil Tartsah, and Eugene Tartsah, aunts; Helena Tartsah, Janie M. Tartsah, Laveda Tartsah, Vivian M. Tartsah, Athaleen Chat Tartsah, Barbara Tartsah, and Joyce Kaule Kaule.
Otis is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home.
Daughters: Jennifer Tartsah, Desiree Izaguirre and her husband, Cristo, Miranda Tartsah, and Marissa Tartsah.
Grandchildren: Elena Juarez and her husband, Roman, Anthony Slinkey, Damien Slinkey, Jacqueline Izaguirre, Cecila Izaguirre, Enrique Izaguirre, Jacob Yelloweagle, Hazel Yelloweagle, Lucas Jantz, and Jailyn Tartsah.
Great Grandchild: Avelino Juarez.
Sisters: Debra Seymour, Saloma Seymour Thompson, and Janice Seymour Botone.
Brother: Randy Seymour
Host of numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
