Norma Washa

Norma Washa, 65, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, passed away on November 17th, 2015. She was born in Clinton, Oklahoma, on October 10, 1950, to Arthur and Inez (Elk River) Kauley. Norma was an unexpected twin, so she had never been given a proper middle name. That being the case, Jimmy would always call her "Norma Kay". Norma married Jimmy Washa on November 30, 1968, in Hammon, Oklahoma, to this union three children were born. She had specialized in Culinary Arts and worked as a baker in Albuquerque alongside her husband. She loved to cook and read her bible. She also enjoyed being up and about. She liked playing cards and going out to the casino. She would always play her favorite songs while she cleaned. Norma was always describe as a natural beauty and an extremely likeable person.

She's survived by her husband, Jimmy Washa, Weatherford,Oklahoma,
daughter, Amber Patterson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
son, Dennis Washa, Weatherford, Oklahoma,
two sisters, Virginia Kauley, Colorado,
and Lily Kauley, Hammon, Oklahoma,
four grandchildren, Jaden Patterson, Sally Patterson, Wakiza Patterson, and Josh Patterson Jr
her good friends, Betty Whiteman, Hammon, Oklahoma,
Imogene Pewo, Clinton, Oklahoma,
Linda, Weatherford, Oklahoma,
and a host of friends and relatives.

She's preceded in death by her parents, son, Jimmy Dan Jr., her brothers; Kenneth Kauley, David Kauley, Jodie Kauley, Edwin Kauly, and twin, Norman Kauley.

A Wake service will be held sat 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Ray & Martha's Funeral Chapel in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Indian Baptist Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Internment will follow at Hammon Cemetery, Hammon, Oklahoma.
Services will be under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
