Norma Jean Smith

Norma Jean (Lewis) Smith, 83, went to be our Lord on Friday, November 10, 2023 in OKC, OK. She was born in Lawton, OK on November 18, 1939 to Lee Roy and Rhoda (Jacoway) Lewis.
Norma grew up in Stratford, OK then the family moved to Denver, CO. She attended and graduated from Manuel High School, in Denver, CO. Norma was a proud member of the Choctaw Tribe and the Choctaw Tribe of Mississippi. She met the love of her life and married Alva "Al" Smith on December 23, 1964, in Denver, CO. They were blessed with a daughter, Anita Robin and son, John.
Norma loved quilting, arts, crafts, puzzled books and singing. She loved traveling, siting up and selling arts & crafts, Norma loved teaching children in Sunday School at the Rock Springs Church where she was a member. She loved family gatherings with her children, grandchildren, and other family members.
Norma was preceded in death by her: parents, Lee Roy and Rhoda; husband, Al Smith; siblings: Jack Dempsey York, Jesse Lee York, Betty Lou Wallace, Leonard Lewis, Minnie Amos
She is survived by her:

Son: Rev. J. C. (John) & wife, Michelle Smith, Anadarko, OK
Grandchildren: Preston Goombi; Saraya Goombi & husband Dylan Hoff; Felicia Rose Goombi; Jade Goombi; Newakis Goombi-Toles; Elijah Toles; Kareriss Williams; Jakobe Williams; Kayden Williams; Mekhi Williams
