Norma June Phillips

Norma June Phillips, 71, was born April 29, 1941, in Chickasha, to Joseph Eli and Dorothy Mae (Trammell) Standridge. She passed from this life on Friday, May 18, 2012, at her home in Anadarko.
Norma was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and a former member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Chickasha, ok. She enjoyed going to thrift stores and garage sales as wel as working in her flower bed. Norma also raised and bred Pekingese dogs for amny years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed every minute with her family. Norma touche dhte lives of many people with her kindness and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. She will be remembered in all the wonderful memories she ahs left in the hearts of her family and friends.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Mike Standridge.
Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Wesley Phillips, three daughters, Donna Smith and husband, Tracy of Broken Arrow, Teresa Irving of Anadarko and Linda Treas and husband, Gary of Pryor; one son, John Hopkins of Oklahoma City, six grandchildren, Brandy Bentz of Pryor, Matt Bentz of Enid, Sean Treas of Tennessee, Dustin Hopkins of Chickasha, Haley Treas and Ben treas both of Pryor: six great grandchildren, and one brother, Donnie Standridge of Chickasha.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2 P.M.m Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Fairlawn Cemetery, north of Chickasha, under the direction the Steverson Funeral Home.
