Ninalea Clydena McDaniel-Davis entered Heaven's Gates June 10, 2017 at the Corn Heritage Center after a brief illness.
Ninalea Clydena McDaniel Davis was born January 3, 1937 to Elizabeth Shepherd McDaniel and Clyde William McDaniel in Carnegie, Oklahoma. She was an only child, but had many cousins.
She attended Union Corner and Carnegie Public Schools. She was a proud member of the Class of 1954.
In her younger years she worked at Adam's Drug where she met many of her lifelong friends.
On June 15, 1960 Ninalea married Edward Lee Davis in Blanchard, Oklahoma. From this union was born: Jimmy Lee Davis, Debralea Dawn Davis, Johnny Durrell Davis and Darolyn Danae Davis. They also adopted Rozaria Marie High-Davis and Victor Noel Ybarra-Davis.
Ninalea was a housewife by trade. She worked at the Kiowa Headstart and Carnegie Nursing Home for a short time. She was a member of the Carnegie Church of Christ.
Ninalea loved her Oklahoma City Thunder and her OU Sooners. Her passions were her animals. She loved them dearly. She was also passionate about the Carnegie Wildcats and would travel the country to watch them play. Although her worldly passions were simple, her greatest passion was Jesus Christ, in which her desire has now been fulfilled as she is now resting in the arms of her Saviour.
Survivors include Sons: Jimmy Lee Davis and wife Yvonne of Carnegie, Johnny Durrell Davis and wife LaDonna of Paris, Texas, Victor Noel Davis of Anadarko.
Daughters: DebraLea Dawn Davis-Sanders and husband John of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Darolyn Danae Melton and K.C. Nimsey of Carnegie, Oklahoma and Rozaria Marie High-Davis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Grandsons: John Sanders Jr of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Caedon Cole Davis of Paris, Texas, and Bradyn Alexander Melton of Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Granddaughters: Jade Elizabeth Ware of Paris, Texas, Camdyn Preslie Davis of Paris, Texas, and many friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Clyde William McDaniel & Elizabeth Amy Shepherd McDaniel and her husband Edward Lee Davis.
