Naomi Earlene Pawless

Naomi Earlene Pawless passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas after a brief illness. Naomi lived the last four years with her daughter, Joyce, and son-in-law Bill Chism in Windom, Texas. Naomi was born on March 10, 1927, to Earl and Ruby Cooper of Saddle Mountain, Oklahoma. Naomi was a long time resident of Hobart, Oklahoma, with her husband George. They were married in 1945 in Sherman, Texas, and raised five daughters.
Survivors include three daughters: Georgia and husband Tommy Archuletta of Gunnison, Colorado, Joyce and husband Bill Chism of Windom, Texas, and Janette Belew of Lawton, Oklahoma, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Naomi is preceded in death by her husband, George Pawless, and daughters, Linda Gayle Taft and Teresa Marie Pawless.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2016, at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Hobart, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home.
