Lee Reeves

(Myrtle) Lee Reeves was born in Plainview, Texas on July 4th, 1954, to Lem Jim Casteel and Marie Elizabeth Winn. She passed from this life on March 29, 2023. Lee grew up in Anadarko, Oklahoma and graduated from Anadarko High School. She married the love of her life Joe Reeves on October 29, 1971, and they were married for the rest of his life. She dabbled in several professions including working as the Curator of the Anadarko Heritage Museum, a teaching assistant at Anadarko Head Start, and running a home daycare for ten years, but her favorite and most important job was that of Mother and Nana. In her free time, Lee loved to do crafts and she was very artistic. She was also interested in genealogy as well as gardening, canning and baking. Lee loved spending time with her family and especially her three beautiful granddaughters.

She is survived by her son Dale Reeves and wife Heather of Oklahoma City, son Ricky Reeves and wife Brenda of Anadarko, daughter Keisha Gordon, husband Casey, and granddaughters Kennidee and Caydee Gordon of Anadarko, and son Jake Reeves and granddaughter Journey Reeves of Anadarko, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to count.

Lee was preceded in death by her parents Lem and Marie Casteel, her brother Johnny Mack Casteel, her sister Rose Marie Bell, several nephews, and her beloved husband Joe Reeves.
