Moody Leroy Mandrell,

October 2, 1961 — July 19, 2011

Moody Leroy "Pee Wee" Mandrell, Jr. 49, of Carnegie, OK passed away Tuesday, July 19th, 2011 at Integris Baptist Medical Center. He was born to Moody and Mary (Ramirez) Mandrell October 2, 1961 in Anadarko, OK. Pee Wee graduated from Carnegie High School in 1979. He lived in Carnegie his whole life and farmed in the Carnegie area. As a young man he loved to work with his cattle and pigs. As he got older he worked in his watermelon patch and garden. Pee Wee started his day at three thirty a.m. each day where he has been employed with the newspaper for twelve years. He only missed one day for the birth of his granddaughter Jada, where he was known as "Papa Wee". He then drove the bus route morning and afternoon then made his way to Mt. View to work at the grocery store as a butcher, which he loved serving and visiting the Mt. View people. Pee Wee loved his daughters with his whole heart. He started Daja clogging and singing at a young age. He loved listening to Daja sing. Pee Wee started Brianna with T-Ball at age three where he helped coach until she was twelve years of age. He was proud of both of his daughters. Pee Wee's home was a refuge to be alone with God. He was a strong man who wanted only a simple life. He is now tending his herd of Longhorns which was his heart's desire.

Shirley Mandrell, Carnegie, OK
Debbie Poorbuffalo and husband Lewis, Carnegie, OK
numerous nieces and nephews
friend, Penny Gonzalez, Chickasha, OK

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Martin and Bessie Ramirez, paternal grandparents, Mood and Minnie Mandrell.

Services: 10:00am Friday, July 22, 2011 at the Memorial Building, Carnegie, OK
Burial will follow at the Carnegie Cemetery
Under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie
