Monty Franklin

Monty Lynn Franklin, 57, Corn, Oklahoma, went to his Heavenly home on January 19, 2023. Monty was born to Lindel and Janice Franklin on June 20, 1965, in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. Monty grew up and attended school in Carnegie until graduating in 1984. He attended school at Southwestern Oklahoma State University until he decided to start working. He moved to Stillwater and OKC for a couple years until residing in Weatherford for 25 years, and living in Corn for the last 3. Monty worked at Orkin since 1986 until working at WW. He started working for Orkin again where he was employed until his passing. Monty was a man of God and he enjoyed reading his bible, and attending church. Monty enjoyed watching football to cheer OU Sooners and the Minnesota Vikings on. Monty was a noble man. You could always count on him to be loyal, caring and a friend. He had a unique personality and infectious laugh. He was very involved in his families lives and tried to never miss anything. His family was everything to him. Monty will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
