Mona "Bonez" Nauni

Mona "Bonez" Nauni, 79, of Carnegie, Oklahoma was born on March 28, 1942 in Carnegie, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Roger and Mae (Hall-Zotigh) Tofpi. She went to walk the golden streets of Heaven on May 12, 2021 at Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
She married the love of her life, Willis Laverne Nauni Sr, in June 1961 on the Comanche/Caddo Line Road. She was an enrolled member of the Kiowa Tribe, Native American Church, Carnegie Victory Club, and the Cedar Creek Church.
Mona was known as "Bingo Bonez". She enjoyed bead working, sewing, word searches, playing slots, and bingo on her tablet. Mona spent her free time watching reality television, the Oklahoma Sooners play football - especially Baker Mayfield, and the Oklahoma City Thunder play basketball. Most of all she loved having her family gather inside her home. However, Mona was a real stickler about being on time. If you were late, she would start without you!
Cherishing her memory is her three sons: Roy M.Littlecalf and his wife, Betty Ann, Willis "Nootsie" Nauni Jr., Jason Nauni and his wife, Sherry; two daughters, Lee Ann (Peaches) Wermy and her husband, Eddie, Roberta (Charlie) Nauni and her companion, Greg Anhaitty; forty-four grandchildren; forty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Sarah Tofpi and Mary Etta (Chili) Tofpi.
Mona is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Nauni Sr.; two daughters, infant, Laverna Littlecalf and Athamah Mary Nauni; parents, Roger and Mae Tofpi; brothers, Lindbergh Tofpi Sr. and Harry L. Tofpi Sr.; sisters, Ruby Bell Gayton and Rachel LouAnn "Bobalou" Stickler.
She leaves behind her family and many close friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
