Minerva R. Cornell

Minerva "Minnie" R. Cornell, 69, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on July 23rd, 2022 at her home. She was born on May 10th, 1953 to Alberto Morales Diaz and Carolina (Rocha) Diaz in Buckeye, Arizona. Minnie grew up and attended school in La Mesa, Texas. She worked as a private caregiver and lived with her second mother, Maria Truitt. Minnie loved karaoke with her family and friends, shopping, OU football, traveling, dancing and the casino. If you knew Minnie, you never forgot her. She never met a stranger and will be known most for her love of family. She will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include: 2nd mother, Maria Truitt, of Hobart, OK, 5 brothers, Albert Diaz Jr., wife, Becky of Edinburg, TX, Mike Diaz, wife, Yolanda of Edinburg, TX, Ismael Diaz and wife, Esther of Bay City, MI, Noe Diaz, of Clinton, OK, and Robert Diaz and wife, Elva of Gulfport, MS. 1 sister, Isabel Rubio and husband Mario of Frederick, OK. 7 children, Ernesto Hinojosa Jr. of Clinton, OK, Michael Hinojosa, Oklahoma City, OK, Linda Trissell and husband Zackary, of Florence, AZ, Sylvia Sweeten and husband Gerald of Rocky, OK, Elizabeth Salazar of Burns Flat, OK, Eusebio Salazar Jr. of Hobart, OK, and Eli Salazar, and wife Racheal of Sapulpa, OK, and ALOT of grandkids and great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, 2 brothers, Abel and Oscar Diaz, 1 sister, Linda Diaz, her son Jaime Hinojosa, and her granddaughter, Alexia and 2 grandsons, Avery Trissell, and Matthew Deines.
