Mildred Walker

On Jan. 31, 2013, God took our precious angel, home to be with Him . Our Mother, "Grandma Johnnie" and friend was a special person who loved The Lord and lived her life for Him each day. She was born, Nov. 29, 1915 in Mtn. View, Ok and lived there until 2005 when she moved to OKC to live at Heritage Assisted Living. She later moved to Baptist Village. She was married to J.C. Walker for 53 yrs before his death in 1986. They had two daughters, Jean and Joyce. She loved to read, sew, travel (never meeting a stranger) and play Bingo. She loved to talk and liked to know what was going on.

She is survived by her daughters, Jean (Dennis) Haxton and Joyce Kennedy Sister, Josephine Pearson
4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great great grandsons and many other friends and relatives

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, brother, grandson, great-grandson, great-great-granddaughter and son-in-law.

Memorial donations may be given to Addie Davis Library or First Baptist Church, Mountain View.

Services will be at 1:30 pm on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Mountain View, OK
