Michael "Mike" Evans Reyna, 61, went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born June 28, 1961 in Cyril, OK to Emilio Reyna and Imogene (Archilta) Tsatahsisko.
Mike attended Boone grade school, Concho Indian School, Fort Sill Indian School and graduated from Riverside Indian School in 1980. After graduating he worked various jobs in the oil field and then joined his father Emilio as a Native stone/rock mason rocking houses and building rock fireplaces all over the Southwest Oklahoma. His passion was being an artist. Mike was a sculptor, painter and jewelry making.
He was the Great-great-great-great grandson of Pancho Villa.
Mike had three sons: Mike Nestell, Jan 5, 1979. In 1982, he met Michelle Yackeyony and thru this union had two sons: Dominic Aaron Reyna Yackeyony and Robert Armando Emilio Yackeyony.
Mike was an Elder of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma and a very talented artist in sculpturing stone, wood and bone. He had art pieces on display at the Southern Plains Museum in Anadarko, OK. A private collector of the Fairmont Creamery, Lawton, OK and several other private collectors around the nation has his artwork and pieces.
He was a simple man, never drawing attention to himself, had a great love for all his family, friends and would help anyone who asked for his assistance without any hesitation. Mike loved the Lord and life always saying
"If the Lord be on my side, who can be against me."
