Michael Ray Gauntt

Michael (Mike) Ray Gauntt, 63, of Hobart, OK passed away on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012 in the Elkview General Hospital. He was born November 15,1948 in Houston, TX to Jesse Wilburn and Frances Bernice (Kent) Gauntt. He grew up in Clinton, OK. Mike married Delores Fay Self on March 3, 2001 in Wichita Falls, TX. He moved to Hobart about 20 years ago and was a painter and carpenter. Mike was a member of the Church of Christ in Lone Wolf.

grandkids: Brandon, LaShaun, April, Amy, Breanna, Jessica, Alex, Octavia, Santannah, Alicia, Brandon, Jani, Kaytlyn, Kyle, Whitney, Chris, Garrison, Lilly, Hailei, Jordon and Hunter.

9 great-grandkids:Hector, Lauren, Christian, Isabella, Nicholas, Jaque, Gabby, Isaiah and Jayden

and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Frances Gauntt, brother, Sammie Gauntt, mother-in-law Violette Self.


The family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
