Melva May Koomsa, 57, of Carnegie, OK, passed away Monday, December 1st, 2014. She was born a twin on November 5th, 1957 to Nannie Belle Koomsa in Lawton, OK. After graduating from Carnegie High School in 1976 she attended USAO in Chickasha, OK where she studied Business. Melva was a member of Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, where she was also baptized. She is a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nannie Belle Koomsa, grandparents, Bill Koomsa, Sr., and Henrietta Satepauhoodle Koomsa, aunts, Angeline Wetselline, Lois Gayton, uncle, Bill Koomsa, Jr., twin sister, Melda Mary Koomsa, brothers, Buddy Evans Huerta, Sr., Lee Lynn Koomsa and Cletus Monroe Koomsa.
